"Hi from Peter & Judy. We have just spent 6 wonderful days at the Reef Retreat (late December 2007). What a wonderful place to relax and recharge the batteries, but there is also plenty to do at Palm Cove if you want to be busy and all with the assistance of the fantastic operators of the Reef Retreat. They organised a trip on the Skyrail into the rainforest and return trip by Vintage train, with pick up and drop off at the door. Another day they organised a trip to the Great Barrier Reef which was everything I had hoped for. Again we were picked up and dropped off at the door. The room (a studio) was fantastic, with everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. With self contained facilities, we were able to organise our own meals when required. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool was also great, with a fantastic BBQ area – wonderfully clean. The Resort rooms are linked by timber walk ways throughout a fantastic rainforest garden. Palm Cove has plenty of places to eat out and accommodates all budgets. I highly recommend the Reef Retreat at Palm Cove for your next holiday.
